What Federal Contractors Should Know About DPAS

In this webinar, Mark Amadeo briefly discusses several aspects of the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) that every federal government contractor should know about.  Regulations under DPAS are authorized under the Defense Production Act of 1950 (DPA) and Executive Order 13603.  These regulations implement standards and procedures that federal government agencies and federal government contractors and subcontractors must follow when placing and filling priority-rated orders.  Among the issues addressed in this webinar are: how DPAS priority ratings are placed on government contracts, orders and subcontracts; the rules that contractors and subcontractors must follow when accepting or rejecting DPAS rated orders; preferential scheduling rules that contractors and subcontractors must adhere to when they receive DPAS rated orders; and special priorities assistance that contractors may avail themselves of when problems or conflicts arise under a DPAS rated contract or order.
